How to Choose a Scent Diffuser for Your Home
Short answer: Choose a waterless scent diffuser for the space you actually want to scent, then compare controls, placement and oil capacity. In the JCLOUD lineup, A-326 suits a room up to 1,000 sq ft; A-311 V2 adds a larger coverage rating, a status display and Black or White finishes.

These are manufacturer-rated maximum areas, not guarantees for every home. Walls, ceiling height, airflow, fragrance and settings affect results. Start with one connected scent zone, not your home's total floor area.

A-326 or A-311 V2: which fits your room?
Choose A-326 if its up-to-1,000-sq-ft rating fits your scent zone and you prefer a slim black body, simple front controls and a warm base light. Its 120mL reservoir is smaller than A-311 V2's. USB-C is its power connection: it needs continuous power and is not a rechargeable cordless diffuser.
Choose A-311 V2 if you want the up-to-2,000-sq-ft rating, visible operating status, nine levels and optional Bluetooth scheduling. The Black and White versions share the same core scenting functions; choose the finish to suit your room. Bluetooth does not mean Wi-Fi control.

Three checks before you buy
- Define the scent zone. A living room opening into a dining area is different from several closed bedrooms. See how to size a diffuser and when to use more than one diffuser.
- Choose the installation method. If you need wall mounting or HVAC connection, compare JC002 and OV-3 and check their installation instructions. Do not assume every waterless diffuser connects to HVAC.

Oil capacity is not the same as refill size
A 500mL retail refill bottle does not make a diffuser's reservoir hold 500mL. A-326 holds up to 120mL; A-311 V2 and JC002 hold up to 180mL. Use the filling method and maximum level in the machine's instructions. Do not assume a retail oil bottle screws directly into every model.
Start with a compatible 100mL diffuser oil to try a fragrance. Compare 100mL oils and 500mL refills once you know your preference. Diffuser-only purchases do not include oil; a Starter Kit lets you select a machine-and-oil setup.
Frequently asked questions
Will one diffuser scent every room?
Not necessarily. A coverage figure does not promise equal fragrance across closed rooms or separate floors. Plan connected areas as scent zones; use the large-room guide for open layouts.
Do these waterless diffusers need water?
No. Use compatible waterless diffuser oil as directed. Do not add water, carrier oil or a different fragrance product unless the model's instructions allow it.
Does a larger oil reservoir mean stronger fragrance?
No. Reservoir capacity tells you how much oil the machine holds, not its coverage or scent strength. Compare the rated area and controls separately; oil use also changes with your schedule and intensity.
