Getting started and refills after your JCLOUD diffuser arrives

Owner path

Short answer

After your JCLOUD diffuser arrives, follow this order: set it up, keep it clean, use compatible waterless oils only, then refill when your bottle runs low. How long a bottle lasts depends on your model, room size, intensity, schedule, and bottle size—there is no single day count that fits every home.

Step 1

Install and first setup

Place the machine where air can move, add compatible waterless oil only (no water, no carrier oils), then start low and adjust after the room has mixed. Use the official model manual for fill levels, controls, and safety details.

A-311 V2

Touch + display first

Set A-311 V2 on a stable surface with open airflow. Add oil, start on a lower intensity, then use the touch controls and display to understand the cycle before raising output.

JC-002

Whole-home placement

Place JC-002 where fragrance can travel through open living areas—avoid blocked corners. Start modestly in large rooms; raise intensity only after the scent has had time to settle.

AP-353

Plug-in compact zones

AP-353 suits bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and smaller rooms. Plug into a reachable outlet, keep the outlet area clear, and start low so the scent stays comfortable in a tighter space.

Step 2

Cleaning and maintenance

Keep care simple and conservative. Power off and unplug before any wipe-down. Use only the cleaning method recommended in that model’s user manual for reservoir or bottle handling, and do not open sealed electronics.

  • Wipe exterior only with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Keep liquid away from ports, outlets, and the display or touch areas.
  • Handle oil carefully. Wipe minor drips promptly. Do not wash the machine under running water.
  • When changing fragrances, empty remaining oil according to the manual, wipe accessible contact surfaces if needed, then refill with the new compatible oil. Strong scent changes may need a short air-out period.
  • Store unused oil sealed in its original bottle, upright, away from heat and direct sun.
  • If output feels weak after normal use, check placement, oil level, and intensity first. For atomizer or bottle-part questions, use the model manual or contact support—do not force parts that are not meant to be opened.
Step 3

Compatible oils

JCLOUD machines are built for waterless hotel-inspired diffuser oils used directly—no water and no carrier oils. Starter kits should use 100ML or 500ML diffuser oils (not discovery or laundry sets).

Start

100ML to choose a scent

Use 100ML when you are testing a fragrance or rotating a few hotel-inspired profiles. Size alone does not mean stronger scent.

Continue

500ML for a known routine

Move to 500ML when you already know the fragrance and scent regularly—especially larger spaces or longer daily schedules. A larger bottle is more supply, not a stronger formula.

Step 4

Refill and repurchase

Restock when the bottle is running low—not on a promised calendar. Combine your model, bottle size, and how you actually run the machine.

What changes how quickly oil is used
Factor What usually happens Practical move
Model Whole-home machines in open layouts often use oil faster than a compact plug-in in a small room. Match intensity to the model’s room job—A-311 V2 / JC-002 for larger zones, AP-353 for compact rooms.
Bottle size 100ML is easier for testing; 500ML supports a longer known routine. Keep 100ML for discovery. Move favorites to 500ML when you scent regularly.
Intensity & schedule Higher output and more daily hours use oil faster. Start low. Raise only after the room has mixed and the scent still feels light.
Room size & airflow Open floor plans and HVAC-assisted paths can disperse scent differently than a closed bedroom. Adjust placement and intensity for the space you actually scent, then refill based on how you use the machine.

How long a bottle lasts varies by model, room, intensity, and schedule—refill when your bottle runs low. More detail: How long does diffuser oil last? · How often to refill · 500ML refill guide.

Next step

Set up once. Refill when your bottle says so.

Start with the right manual for your model, keep oil compatible and waterless, then restock the fragrance you actually use—100ML to decide, 500ML to continue.
